Zero – Trenta is a photographic project that began in 2019, born from the desire to pause and contemplate the moment, inviting us to explore the present. Using photography as a medium, which by its very nature captures an image forever, the photographs in Zero – Trenta represent states of suspension, capturing a world that changes. Through changes in focus or the natural movement of things, each pair of photographs becomes an invitation to realize that nothing remains the same and everything is in constant transformation. It also emphasizes that deciding what to focus on, whether metaphorical, tactile, or visual, is our choice.
The images urge us not to let the rush of life make us lose sight of the present moment or the things that truly matter. Each pair of photographs serves as a visual reminder: in a world that never stops moving, it is crucial to take the time to observe, to contemplate, to reconnect with our surroundings, and to appreciate what is here and now, even amidst the daily grind.
